At Baxter Freight we put our customers first. Providing you with creative solutions, market leading customer service and value for money is at the core of everything we do.
We are a relationships-driven business which aims to be recognised as providing the highest level of customer service in the UK logistics sector. We seek to be more trustworthy, more innovative, better communicators and people who will go the extra mile. We aim to provide solutions when others can’t, to make things happen when others won’t.
Our dedicated account managers will provide you with a single point of contact for all your logistics requirements, which makes doing business with us simple. We start our relationships by listening to you, understanding your logistics challenges. We will then use the expertise of our team to propose creative solutions and provide a suitable logistics offering for a sensible price.
Our aim is to set realistic, deliverable expectations with customers and to keep them. We know that every customer wants honest, reliable and prompt communication and we have set up our entire organisation with this in mind. We understand that if something is going wrong it’s much better that you hear it from us, not from your customer.Meet the team
Baxter Freight is a general cargo logistics provider. We provide logistics services to businesses of all sizes working in all sectors. We’re experienced in handling jobs of any size from small packages to pallets, full and part loads, to special projects and events logistics.
We work with businesses who need to move goods within the UK or between the UK and the rest of the world. We can handle express shipments, hazardous shipments (subject to certain exceptions), temperature controlled cargo, out of gauge and special consignments. We also specialise in helping companies find logistics solutions outside of the UK (including cross-trade freight movements and European warehousing and fulfilment) using our experience and network of long-term relationships.
We are a low carbon business focused on filling empty capacity on our partners’ equipment rather than operating our own fleet with all the environmental and cost advantages that come with that.
Across all our services, we can arrange ‘goods in transit insurance’ as part of the movement of freight with us, upon request.
“Having been a customer of Baxter Freight for over 2 years and had the opportunity to visit their hub in Belgium, I was very impressed by the sleek operation. We are a manufacturer of high value, highly fragile bathroom furniture and customer satisfaction and expectations are our main focus.
“Working with Baxter Freight, we have seen a reduction in late deliveries and significant reduction in damages. Their professionalism and customer service is exceptional.”
Alwen Edwards, Operations Manager, Victoria and Albert Baths Limited.
“Baxter Freight has displayed a will to ensure our customers receive the best possible service – both our operational teams in head office and our logistics operation rate them as the best European freight provider we’ve ever had. In my own personal experience dealing with Baxter Freight, they work with us to achieve the required results every time.”
John Mulvihill, Group Commercial Manager, Regatta Limited.
We're proud to announce we've officially been granted Authorised Economic Operator (AEO) status by HM Revenue & Customs (HMRC). International Freight and Customs Manager Brendan Pickering discusses how the universally recognised quality mark is positive news for our customers and suppliers.
The Chinese New Year – and all its associated challenges for those importing goods from China – is just around the corner.
